Kabniel - An angel invoked to cure
stupidity.
Kabshiel - An angel who, when conjured
up and agreeable with the invocant confers grace and power.
Kadi(el) - A Friday angel invoked from
the west and serving in the third heaven.
Kafziel - In Jewish tradition, Kafziel
is the angel of death for kings and other important people.
In the Zohar, Kafziel and Hizkiel act as aides to Archangel
Gabriel in times of war.
Kakabel - (star of God), Angel of the
Moon - a powerful angel of folklore, is in charge of the
stars and constellations.
In folklore, Kakabel is a powerful angel in charge of
the stars and the star groupings of the sky. Some ancient
writers consider him righteous and exalted. But to others,
he is one of the evil angles who fell by mating with mortal
women and then compounded the error by teaching mortals
astrology and the constellations.
Kalka'il - In the Islamic tradition,
Kalka'il is in charge of the huris in Heaven. He lives
in the 5th Heaven in Paradise.
Kamali - Rhodesian: Spirit Protector.
Kasbeel (Kasbel) - Kasbeel was originally
called Beqa, which means "virtuous." However,
he tried to trick Archangel Michael into telling him the
secret name of God. Because of this, he became a fallen
angel and his name was changed to Kasbeel, which means
"deceiver." According to the 1st Book of Enoch,
he is one of the leader of the Grigori.
Karoz - Karoz are reporter angels.
Kasdeja - Kasdeja is one of the Grigori,
angels who came down to earth and slept with human women.
Katzfiel - An angelic Prince of the
sword and guard of the sixth heaven. Katfiel's sword
emits lightening!
Kemuel - ("The congregation of
God") A gatekeeper of heaven, Kemuel once tried to
keep Moses from passing when he ascended to heaven at
God's bidding to get the Torah and bring it back to Mount
Sinai and to the wilderness-wandering Jews. For his presumption,
Kemuel was struck by Moses who "destroyed him out
of this world." This must have been a fearsome blow.
It apparently discouraged any thought of retaliation by
the head gatekeeper's staff of 12,000 firery angels of
destruction, all posted there with Kemuel at the portals
of the sky - presumably to dishearten any would-be trespassers.
Kerubeem (Kerubim) - Kerubeem is the
Islamic equivalent of the Cherubim. According to legend,
the Kerubeem were created from the tears of Mikhail. Their
task is to endlessly praise God.
Kerubiel (Kerubiel YHWH or Cherubiel)
- Kerubiel is one of the leaders of the Cherubim. His
height spans all seven Heavens and powerful flames come
out of his mouth with every word he speaks. His body consists
of burning coals, covered with thousands of piercing eyes.
Thunder, lightning, and earthquakes accompany him everywhere
he goes. Despite his threatening appearance, he glows
with the divine light of the Shikinah, the feminine aspect
of God.
Kesef (Kezef) - Kesef is one of the
destroying angels. According to Jewish legend, he led
an attack on Moses at Mt. Horeb. He was captured by Aaron,
the high priest, an d imprisoned in the Holy Tabernacle.
During the time of his imprisonment, all death on earth
ceased. In the Jewish tradition, Kesef is considered an
angel of death.
Kether - Kether is one of the ten angels
who rule over the holy sephiroth.
Kfial - One of the 64 angel wardens
of the seven celestial halls.
Khamael - In the Kabbalah, Khamael is
considered the Archangel of Geburah.
Khshathra Vairya - Khshathra Vairya
is an Amesha Spenta, or Archangel, in Zoroastrianism who
looks after soldiers and people who are poor. His task
is to bring prosperity and knowledge of God to people
who need it.
Kokabel (Kaobiel, Kokabiel, or Kakabel)
- "Star of God." Kokabel has the enormous task
of looking after all the stars. Fortunately, has has 365,000
angel at his disposal to help him. (However, according
to the Third book of Enoch, Kokabel - as Kokbiel - is
one of the Rulers of the Earth and is responsible for
the planets.) To complicate matters, in the First Book
of Enoch, Kokabel is described as a fallen angel and part
of the Grigori. Because of his involvement with the stars,
Kokabel is believed to be a highly skilled astrologer.
Kokaviel - The name of the angel found
inscribed on the third pentacle of the planet Mercury.
Kolazonta (Kolozanta) - "The Chastiser."
Kolazonta is an angel of destruction who threatened to
destroy the Israelites when they were traveling through
the wilderness. Aaron defeated his by purifying the Israeli
camp.
Kutiel - Angel of Water - An angel invoked in connection
with using divining rods.
Kyriel - One of the 28 angels governing
the 28 mansions of the moon. He is responsible for Abnahaya,
the 20th mansion. In this role, he helps people tame wild
animals, strengthens prisons, and has the ability to summon
people to any place he cares to name.
