Machidiel (Malahidael) -Angel of Courage - Machidiel is
one of the angels of the Tree of Life, and he is frequently
invoked by people performing love magic. Machidiel is
the angel of March, and he looks after the interests of
people born under the zodiac sign of Aries. His main task
is to help people who lack the necessary courage to express
their love to others.
Madan - An angel the exercises dominion
over the planet Mercury.
Madimi - Madimi is one of the Enochian angels who communicated
with Dr. John Dee and Edward Kelley in the 16 century.

He is also one of the inteligences of the planet Saturn
and is a Monday angel of the first Heaven. He may be
invoked from the North.
Mahariel (Swift) - An angel of Paradise
stationed at the first portal. He provides new souls for
the purified ones.
Mahasiah - Mahasiah is one of the 72
Schemhamphoras, a group of angels who bear the various
names of God found in Jewish scriptures. Mahasiah is also
guardian angel for people born between April 10 &
14. He is a cheerful angel who helps people maintain a
positive disposition.
Mahzian - A spirit who bestows sight.
Maion - Angel of Self Discipline - An angel with dominion over
the planet Saturn and he helps people who are prepared
to work hard to achieve their goals. Maion is the angel
to invoke whenever you need self-control or self-discipline.
Makik - According to the Koran, Malik
is the wicked angel who guards hell. He is aided by nineteen
other angel guards. When the sinful residents of hell
beg Malik for help, he tells the that they must stay in
hell forever because they denied the truth when it was
once shown to them.
Maktiel - An angel with dominion over
trees.
Malahidael - Malahidael can be invoked
whenever you need the necessary courage to stand up for
what you believe is right. It is highly likely than Malahidael
and Machidiel are the same angel.
Malaika (mah-lah-ee-kah) - In Islam,
malaika are angels who look after mankind. They also record
mankind's good and bad deeds. There are various ranks
of malaika. The al-mukarrubun are the malaika
angels closest to Allah. Their task is to worship and
praise him 24 hours a day. At the other extreme is malak
al mawt, the keeper of Hell, who is an angel of death.
Malak al mawt is assisted by 19 helpers called al-zabaniyya.
Malak Ha-Mavet - In both Jewish and
Islamic lore, Malak ha-Mavet is considered an angel of
death. He is sometimes thought to be Azrael or Sammael.
Malakhim (Malakim) - The malakhim are
one of the ten choirs of angels listed in the Key
of Solomon. They are similar in rank to the Virtues.
Bariel, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Tarshish, and Uriel
are all princes of the order of Malakhim. The Malakhimare
considered the most important angels in the hierarchy
of angles listed in the Zohar.
Malashiel (Maltiel) - According to the
Kabbalah, Malashiel is a Friday angel who lives in the
Third Heaven. He is the preceptor angel of Elijah.
Malkhidael (Melchidael or Melkejal)
- Malkhidael is the Archangel of the astrological sign
Aries and Rules the Month of March. Artists usually depict
him wearing green-trimmed red robes, holding the astrological
symbol of Aries.
Malkiel (Malkhiel or Malquiel) - Malkiel
is one of the three angelic princes in the Kabbalah. In
the Book of Raziel, Malkiel is said to have power over
fire and flame. Malkiel provides inspiration, good ideas,
and creativity. He promises success to people how are
persistent and work hard.
Maltiel - A Friday angel resident
in the third heaven and invoked from the West. He is
also one of the intelligence's of the planet Jupiter.
Maltiel is the preceptor angel of Elijah and serves
as one of the numerous guards of the West wind.
Mammon - Mammon is a fallen angel, residing
in hell as the Demon of Avarice who personifies greed
and lust for money.
A fallen angel in Middle Ages folklore whose name is
now a generic term for greed, a locust for worldly richer.
The term "mammon" goes back to Jesus' comments
in the gospels: "No man can be a slave to two masters;
he will hate one and love the other; he will be loyal
to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God
and Mammon.
Manadel - Manadel is one of the 72 Schemhamphoras,
a group of angels who bear the various names of God found
in Jewish scriptures. He is also guardian angel for people
born between February 15 & 19. Manadel looks after
people who travel over water and has an interest in animals
that live in the sea.
Manakel - Angel of the Oceans - Angel of aquatic animals.
Manoghah - Maonghah is the yazata angel
in Zoroastrianism who rules over the moon. Hvare-Khshaeta
rules over the sun.
Mariokh- Mariokh and Ariukh are the
two angels who watched over the family of Enoch (later
to become Metatron) to protect and preserve them from
the impending Flood. Their actions saved Enoch's bloodline
and preserved his writings.
Manu - Angel of fate.
Marut - Marut and Harut are two Islamic
angels who came down from Heaven to teach humans how to
govern themselves. Unfortunately, they revealed the secret
name of God to a human woman who used the power to visit
the planet Venus. The two angels were punished for their
transgressions, and they are imprisoned, head downwards,
in a pit near Babylon. They are considered fallen angels.
Maroch - An angel of the 5th hour of
the day.
Mashit (Mashitt or Mashhit) - In Judaism,
Mashit is considered the angle of death for children.
In the Zohar, Mashit is one of three demons in Hell who
punish people who commit idolatry, incest and murder.
The other two demons are Af and Hemah.
Masleh - According to Jewish tradition,
Masleh is the angle in charge of the zodiac. His name
possibly comes from mazloth, the Hebrew word for "zodiac."
Masniel - Masniel is one of the ruling
angels of the zodiac and is responsible for the sign of
Libra.
Mastema - Mastema is a fallen angel.
He tried to kill Moses to prevent him from asking Pharaoh
to set his people free. He also taught the Egyptian magicians
feats of conjuring, such as turning a rod into a snake,
to undermine the feats of Moses. In the Book of Jubilees,
it was Mastema, not God, who tempted Abraham to sacrifice
his son Isaac. Mastema, the accusing angel, is often said
to be Satan.
Mastho - Is a genius of delusive appearances.
He is one of the spirits of the tenth hour.
Matariel (Matarel or Matriel) - According
to the Third Book of Enoch, Matariel is one of the Rulers
of the Earth and is responsible for rain.
Mabahel - Mabahel is one of the 72 Schemhamphoras,
a group of angels who bear the various names of God found
in Jewish scriptures. Mebahel is also guardian angel to
people born between May 26 and May 31. Mebahel encourages
friendship and conversation.
Mebahiah - An angel who exercises
dominion over morality and religion. He also helps those
desiring offspring.
Mefathiel - (The Opener of Doors) Jewish
folklore's guardian angel of thieves.
Mehiel - An angel who protects university
professors, orators and authors.
An angel who watches over writers, teachers and the like,
according to Jewish kabbalist mystics
Mehikiel - Mehikiel is one of the 72
Schemhamphoras. It is possible that Mehiel and Mehikiel
are the same angel.
Melahel - Is one of the 72 Schemhamphoras.
Melahel, a nurturing and protective angel, is also guardian
angel of people born between July 12 & 16.
Melchizedek (Melchisedek) - Angel of Peace - Melchizedek
belong to the order of Virtues. He is an Angel of the
Presence, and one of the most powerful angels in Heaven.
Dionysius the areopagite wrote that eh was the angel most
loved and favored by God. St. Hippolytus, the Christian
leader and antipope, considered Melchizedek to be more
important tan Jesus Christ. Qum ran, Melchizedek is said
to be a savior who will bring peace to earth in the final
days (11Q Mewlch). In the Book of Moron, Melchizedek is
the prince of peace. According to Jewish legend, Melchizedek
delivered God's covenant to Abraham and prepared the way
for the coming of Jesus. One legend says that he spent
a hundred years on earth four thousand years ago and established
a school to teach people about God. He performs a similar
task in Heaven today. Consequently, Melchizedek is normally
depicted as a teacher or lecturer, holding a scroll in
one hand with the other hand raised as if to emphasize
what he is saying. Melchizedek can be called upon whenever
you need peace, tranquility, and the love of God.
Melek/Melik - Turkish: Angel. Melek
is known as the Peacock Angel and is the main Archangel
in the belief system of the Yazidis.
Melioth - One of nine angels that
run together throughout heavenly and earthly places.
Melkajal - Angelic ruler of March.
Memuneh (Appointed one) - A deputy angel,
a dispenser of dreams. It is said through the Memuneh,
the Universe operates.
Memunnim - "Appointed Ones."
The memunnim are a choir of angels mentioned in the Third
Book of Enoch. During the Middle Ages, they became associated
with guardian angels and are involved with every event,
large or small, that takes place anywhere in the world.
Menadel - Menadel is one of the 72 Schemhamphoras
angels. He is guardian angels to people born between September
18 & 23. He ensures that people living away from their
home lands keep the memory and love of their native country
in their hearts.
Meniel - Meniel is one of the 72 Schemhamphoras,
a group of angels who bear the various names of God found
in Jewish scriptures.
Mephistopheles - Mephistopheles was
originally an Archangel. He then became a fallen angel
and is now one of the 7 great princes in Hell. He was
involved in the war in Heaven and became a fallen angel.
Today he is one of the 7 great princes in Hell.
Mercury - The angel of progress.
Meriarijim - A chief officer-angel
of the night.
Messiach - An angel invoked in magical
operations in connection with the invocation of water
and hyssop. The invocant is advised to resite the versies
of the Psalms 6, 67, 64 and 102.
Metatron - Angel of Thought - Chancellor of heaven, prince
of the ministering angels. He is charged with the sustenance
of mankind. He has been known as the link between the
human and the divine. The angel who wrestled with Jacob.
(Genesis 32), As the watchman (Isaiah 20) Also see Exodus
23:20 for this refers to Metratron as well. Metatron,
according to the cabala is the angel said to have lead
the children of Israel through the wilderness. His female
equivalent is Shekinah. His twin brother is Sandalphon.
After arriving in heaven he was transformed into a
spirit of fire and equipped with 36 pairs of wings as
well as innumerable eyes. He resides in the 7th heaven
and when evoked appears as a pillar of fire said to
be more dazzling than the sun. He has many other names
that he is called by. He has also been credited with
the authorship of Psalms 37:25. He is the supreme angel
of death to whom God gives daily orders as to the souls
to be taken. He then delegates these orders to his subordinates,
Gabriel and Sammael. Metatron is considered by some
to be mightier than Michael or Gabriel. Metatron is
the teacher of prematurely dead children in Paradise.
Micah (Divine Plan) - Angel of the Divine Plan - Watches over
spiritual evolution, seeking every opportunity to reveal
the next steps of your life purpose.
Michael - Angel of Miracles - Chief
angel, deliverer of the faithful, tutelary prince of Israel.
An angel who grants miracles, fosters mercy, repentance,
truth, sanctification, blessing, immortality, patience
and love to human-kind. This archangel is protective of
those who are just and good. Angel of insomnia. He strengthens
our spirits in difficult times. Pray to Michael for these
gifts and virtues. Essene prayer: "Michael, Angel
of Earth, enter my generative organs and regenerate my
whole body."
His name means "Who is as God" He is of
action and strength. Michael is known as the archangel
of peace, harmony, and balance. He leads the angels
of light (celestial army) in battle against the legions
of angels of darkness. In the Dead Sea scrolls [Wars
of the Sons of Light against the Sons of Darkness],
"Michael is the Prince of Light battling against
the sons of darkness," the sons of darkness it
is said is led by the demon Belial.
He is also known for kneeling to Mary and telling her
of her approaching death (Gabriel being the Archangel
who announced the birth of the Virgin's God-child).
It is told in Judaic lore that it was Michael who prevented
Abraham "from sacrificing his son Isaac."
Through legend/myth it is told that Archangel Michael
is who appeared to Moses in the burning bush.
Titles that have been accredited to Archangel Michael
include: Angel of Mercury, Leader of the Archangels,
Viceroy of Heaven, Prince of Virtues, Divine Protector,
Guardian of Peace, Angel of Sunday, Master of Balance,
Angel of Earth, Angel of the Olive Tree and Angel of
the Almond Tree.
Archangel to those born under the sign: Aries - Leo
- Sagittarius. He is of the four winds, his direction
south (Conflicting sources state he is Ruler of the
East). Being "warrior-like" his energy color
is red. His element is Fire. His season is autumn. Tree:
Almond. His symbol is that of a sword. Colors representative
of Michael are: gold, yellow, and rose.
Midael - A chief and Captain in the
celestial army. An angel of the order of warriors.
Mihr - Angel of Friendship - An angel presiding over the month
of September and the 16th day of the month. Mihr watches
over friendship and love.
Mikael - Mikael may be another form
of Michael. He is guardain angel of people born between
October 19 & 23. He is an angel of prosperity and
well-being.
Mikhail - Mikhail lives in the seventh
heaven, has wings of an emerald color, and has hairs of
saffron. Each hair has a million faces with mouths that
speak in a million dialects, all important the pardon
of God. A steadfast friend of humankind, Mikhail has not
laughed since hell was created.
Miniel - A great angel whose chief
virtue is that he can, when invoked, induce love in
an otherwise cold and reluctant maiden. For best results
he must be invoked while the invocant is facing south.
Mirthra - He rises from paradise in
the great East, has 1,000.00 ears and 10,000.00 eyes.He
is also called the god of light and in heaven assigns
places to the souls of the just.
Mithra - Mithra is the angel of light
in Zoroastrianism. Mithra is an yazata angel who mediates
between mankind and God and also helps Rashnu and Sraosha
judge the souls of people when they die. Mithra is said
to have ten thousand eyes. Mithra is a leading member
of the Izad, the 28 important angels that constantly surround
Ahura Mazda, Mithra's birthday is said to be December
25.
Mizan - An angel invoked in Arabic incantation
rites.
Mizrael - (Mitzrael or Mitrael) - In

also one of the 72 Schemhamphoras, a group of angels who
bear the various names of God found in Jewish scriptures.
Mizrael is guardian angel of people born between January
16 & 20. He helps creative and talented people develop
their skills.
Mizgitari - The genius of eagles.
And he serves the seventh hour of the day.
Moakkibat - In Muslim religion Moakkibat
is the recording angel. He writes down men's activities.
Modiniel - One of the spirits of the
planet Mars.
Morael - An Angel of awe or fear.
He rules over August and September. He has the power
of making everything invisible.
Mordad - Angel of death, according
to Persian point of view.
Moroni - Moroni is the Mormon Angel
of God, son of "Mormon, the last great leader of
the Nephites."
Mqttro - An angel that ministers to
the son of man.
Mumiah - Angel of Longevity - This angel presides over
the sciences of medicine and physics. Mumiah is traditionally
believed to grant health and longevity, as well as being
able to suspend physical laws to create miracles.
Munkir and Nakir
- Angels of Justice - According to the Islam tradition there are the angels,
Munkar and Nakir, who question the person in the grave.
They visit the tombs of those who have recently died.
They are to determine where the deceased will go, to
Paradise or to Hell. They ask questions regarding the
religious beliefs of the individual, and also their
good and evil deeds on earth. The good are shown what
life will be like in Heaven. The bad are shown the torments
of Hell.
Mupiel (Out of the Mouth of God) - An
angel invoked for obtaining a good memory and an open
heart.
Muriel - Angel of Emotions - Muriel is one of the 4 regents
of the choir of Dominions. He is considered the Archangel
responsible for the sign of Cancer, and he also looks
after the month of July Muriel can be invoked whenever
your emotions need to be kept under control.
Murdad - Angel of July and he also
governs the seventh day of the month. Murdad is sometimes
equated with the angel Azrael. (He separates the soul
from the body at death.)
Murmur- (Murmus) - before he turned
into a fallen angel, Murmur was partly of the order
of thrones and of the order of angels. This "fact
was proved after infinite research," reports Spence
in An Encyclopedia of Occultism," p. 119. In Hell,
Murmur is considered a great duke with 30 legions of
infernal spirits attending him. He manifests in the
form of a warrior astride a gryphon, with a dual crown
upon his head. He teaches philosophy and constrains
the souls of the dead to appear before him for the answering
