Tablibik - A spirit of fascination
and one of the genii of the fifth hour.
Tabris - Angel of Self Determination - An angel of the sixth hour
who presides over free will, self-determination, choice
and alternatives. When you feel stuck in any situation,
pray to this illumined one for the ability to see creative
alternatives.
Tadiel - "Righteousness of God."
According to Jewish legend, Takhiel was the angel God
sent to prevent Abraham from sacrificing his son, Isasc.
Metatron and Zadkiel have also been credited with this
task. The Bible account does not mention the angel by
name: "And the angel of the Lord called upon him
out of Heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said,
here am I. And he said, Lay not the hand upon the lad,
neither do thou any thing unto him for now I know that
thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son,
thine only son from me" (Genesis 22:11-12).
Taftafah - Taftafiah is an angel who
is mentioned in fourth-century Jewish literature. His
name is constructed from the first two letters of three
verses (69, 70 and 76) of Psalm 119.
Tagas - Tagas is head of both the Sarim
and the parasim. He is so important that even the four
great Archangels (Raphael, Michael, Gabriel, and Uriel)
bow down before him. In the Third Book of Enoch, he is
described as being in charge of the angelic choirs that
constantly sing God's praises.
Tagriel - Tagriel is said to be one
of the chief guards in the Second or Seventh Heaven. He
is also one of the 28 angels who govern the mansions of
the moon. Tagriel is responsible for Alpharg, the 26 mansion.
In this role, he destroys persons and other buildings
and ensures the health of prisoners.
Taharial - Angel of purification - An angel of purity who
is prayed to by those who need to cleanse their thoughts,
spirits or surroundings.
Talia (tah-lee-uh) - Hebrew: Heaven's
dew, name of angel.
Taliahad - Angel of water. Talihad's
name is found inscribed on the seventh pentacle of the
sun.
Tar - One of the ten angels that accompany
the sun on it's daily course.
Tariel - One of the three angels of
summer. Tariel figures in Syrian incantation charms.
He is invoked along with other spellbinding angels in
the "binding of the tongue of the ruler".
Tarot - The angel of time. Stands between
Earth and Heaven, clothed in white robe with wings of
flame and a golden halo around his head. One foot on land
the other, in the sea, behind him the sun rises and on
his brow is the sign of eternity and life: the circle.
Tarshish - Tarshish is a prince of the
choir of Virtues and one of the rulers of the Malakhim.
Tarshishim - The tarshishim is a choir
of angels in the Hebrew tradition. It is the equivalent
of the choir of Virtues. Tarshish is usually considered
their leader, though Sidriel and Anael are also sometimes
mentioned.
Tarwan - One of the 10 angels that
accompany the sun on it's daily course.
Teiaiel - In Cabala, an angel that can
foretell the future. He is a throne angel and controls
maritime expeditions and commercial ventures.
Teiazel - Teiazel is the angel who looks
after writers, artist, sculptors, and musicians. These
people can invoked him whenever they need help in their
creative activities.
Teletiel - Teletiel is one of the ruling
angles of the zodiac, responsible for the sign of Aries.
Temeluch (Temeluchus or Temlakos) -
Temeluch is responsible for pregnancy, and he traditionally
assists Gabriel in instructing the unborn child before
it is born. He also keeps a watchful eye over newly born
babies. Temeluch is a guardian angle and a childbed angel.
In the Jewish tradition, there are said to be 70 childbed
angels who protect mothers during childbirth and protect
newborn babies from evil spirits. However, according to
the Apocalypse of Paul, Temeluch is the chief angel of
torment in Hell.
Temperance - An angel with the sign
of the sun on his forehead, on his breast the square &
triangle of septenary. Pouring from one chalice into two
essences which compose the elixir of life.
Teoael - Teoael is a member of the choir
of Thrones. He can be invoked to help new business ventures.
Traditionally, he was invoked to protect ships heading
out to sea with precious cargoes.
Terathel (Ierathel, Yeratel) - Terathel
is the guardian angel of people born between April 2 &
6. He is a member of the Dominions and is an angel of
joy, laughter, and optimism.
Terentia (ta-ren-shah) - Greek: Guardian.
Tetra - An angel invoked in ritual magic
prayer for the fulfillment of an invocant's desires. Tetra
is noted to be a "great and glorious spirit"
Tetragrammation - The Tetragrammationi
YHVH, the four consonants (Yod, Heh, Vau, Heh) that spell
the holy, unspeakable name of God. Because it is so sacred,
even today, many Jews say "Adonai" ("Lord")
to avoid saying the name out loud. Early feel it should
be pronounced "Yahweh," and therefore it is
sometimes spelled YHWH. Many people say the individual
letters, in preference to the name. In some traditions,
the 73 most important angels have YHVH added to their
names. This is known as a tetragram, and it entitles them
to speak in the Great Law Court in Heaven. The Tetragrammation
also plays a major role in the Kabbalah.
Tezalel - Tezalel is the angle responsible
for trust and fidelity in all loving relationships. He
works hard to keep couples together, as long as there
is a good chance of saving the relationship. Sometimes,
if the couple has drifted apart, Tezalel recognizes it
might be better for them to separate rather than continue
in a dead relationship. You can call on Tezalel if you
have any concerns about the quality of your relationship.
Theliel - An angelic prince of love
invoked in ceremonial magic to procure the woman desired
by the invocant. Not surprisingly, he is associated with
the planet Venus. Men should call on him if they want
to attract love into their lives. Theliel will not make
a specific person fall in love with you, as this might
not be in the best interest of both parties. However,
he will create desirable situations to help people meet
each other. After that, it is up to the two people to
develop a relationship, if they wish.
Thiel - An angel serving in the second
heaven but also serves in the third. He is the ruling
prince of Wednesday and invoked from the North. He is
one of the intelligence's of the planet Venus.
Thoth - An angel of the eighth hour
of the night.
Thunder - In the Islamic tradition,
Thunder is the angel who looks after the clouds and sends
them wherever Archangel Michael decides they should go.
Thunder wields a large stick that he uses to make the
clouds move. Whenever we hear the sound of thunder, we
are hearing the angel Thunder praising God. Thunder has
an assistant named Annan.
Tilonas - An angel invoked in the
conjuration of ink and colors.
Time - An angel named so in the Tarot
Number 14. He is winged, the sign of the sun on his
forehead and the triangle of septenary on his chest.
He pours the essence of life from one chalice to another.
He is also called Temperance. In Ecclesiastes 9 and
12 he is referred to the ministering angel who presides
over each act mans performs.
Myth: Once the creator contemplated destroying the earth
and called for his angels to consult with them. Among
them all were three angels Time, Minutes and Seconds.
Tir - Tir is the yazata angel in charge
of Mercury and the month of June. Tir has the body of
a fish, the face of a boar, and two arms (one white and
the other black). He wears a crown.
Tiriel - Tiriel helps Raphael look after
the planet Mercury, Magicians invoke him when making talismans
relating to Mercury. It is likely that Tiriel was originally
Tir and became Tiriel when adopted by the Hebrew pantheon
of angels.
Tixmion - An angel invoked in the
benediction of the salt.
Torquaret - An angel who procides
over the season of Autumn.
Trgiaob - As an angel who protects
wild birds, we pray to this illumined one to protect
all birds from extinction, pollution and destruction
of their habitat. Whenever you hear a bird sing, Trgiaob
is near.
Trsiel - An angel who has dominion
over rivers.
Tsadkiel - Who passes out the standard-issue
white robes and sandals in heaven? In kabbalistic lore,
Tsadkiel is heaven's quartermaster of clothing, issuing
new outfits to the arriving souls. His overall job title
is angel of justice, al thought Tsadkiel's duties are
as varied as governing the planet Jupiter and, at one
time, protecting Abraham.
Tsaphiel - One of the angels governing
the moon, sometimes invoked by magicians when performing
rituals involving the moon.
Tual - In ceremonial magic, one of the
angel's representing Taurus the bull.
Tubuas (Tubuael) - Tubuas is one of
the angels who were demoted at the Council of Rome in
745 ce. Pope Zachary became concerned at the public interest
in angels and declared a number of them could no longer
be venerated. These angels, known as reprobated angels,
are: Adimus, Inias, Raguel, Sabaoc, Simiel, Tubuas, and
Uriel.
Tubiel - An angel invoked for the
return of small birds to their owner. Also the head
of the sign of Summer.
Turmiel - One of the numerous angelic
guards at the gate of the west wind.
Tuwahel - A ministering angel invoked
in ritual magic.
Tzadiqel - The archangel who rules
Jupiter on Thursday.
Tzadkiel - Angel of divine justice.
Tzakmaqiel (Tzakmiqiel or Tzakamquiel)
- Tzakmaqiel is the angel of Aquarius, and he helps Archangel
Cambiel look after people born under this sign.
Tzaphiel (Tzaphkiel or Tzaphquiel) -
According to the Zohar, Tzaphiel is third of the ten Archangels
and is responsible for Binah in the Tree of Life. His
duties include looking after Thursdays and Saturdays. |
