Ubaviel - An angel with the dominion
over the sign of Capricorn.
Umbael (Umabel) - Umbael is one of the
72 Schemhamphoras, a group of angels who bear the various
names of God found in Jewish scriptures. He is guardian
angel of people born between January 21 & 25. He encourages
a sensitive and nurturing approach to problems and difficulties.
Umbael enjoys helping people who are interested in astronomy
and physics.
Uriel Angel of Creativity - A patron angel
of literature and music, Uriel bestows upon us the gift
of creative fire, as well as the power of prophecy.
We appeal to him for foresight into the future and for
help in developing our psychic abilities. Uriel is an
angel of transformation, archangel of salvation, regent
of the sun, overseer of Tartarus, and is the spirit
of ministration and peace. He helps turn our worst disappointments
into our greatest blessings.
His name means "light or fire of God." There
are many variations of Uriel's name; Auriel, Oriel,
Ouriel, and Pheniel are a few. Uriel is known as the
archangel of enlightenment, physical order, and ecology.
Uriel is ranked variously with seraphim, cherubim, and
regent of the sun. He is the angel of presence and presides
over Tartarus (Hades) while being the archangel of salvation.
He holds the title and watcher of thunder and terror.
In the Book of Adam and Eve he is one of the cherubim's
of Genesis 3 and also presides over the repentance.
Uriel was reprobated at a Church Council in Rome, 745
C.E. - now however, he is Saint Uriel.
Because of Uriel's work with nature, he is the overseer
of Nature Spirits as well. "The Magus claims that
alchemy "which is of divine origin" was brought
down to earth by Uriel, and that it was Uriel who gave
the cabala to man, although this "key to the mystical
interpretation of Scripture" is also said to have
been the gift of Metatron."
Archangel Uriel's many titles do include: Prince of
Seraphim, Angel of the Presence, Angel of Poetry, Angel
of Prophecy, Angel of Music, Angel of Summer, Light
of God, Angel of Retribution, Angel of September, Angel
of Hunter, and Angel of the Nut Tree.
Uriron - An angel invoked as an amulet
against sorcery and sudden death.
Urpaniel - An angel's name found inscribed
on an asian charm for warding off evil.
Usiel - Usiel (Strength of God) is generally
considered a fallen angels and among those who wedded
human wives and begat giants. He is also listed as the
fifth of ten Sefiroth. Usiel is among the seven angles
before the throne of God, and among the nine set over
the four winds.
Ushahin - ushahin is the yazata angel
in Zoroastrianism who looks after the hours from midnight
until dawn every day.
Uvael - A Monday angel, resident of
the first Heaven and invoked from the North.
Uwula - A ministering angel invoked
at an eclipse of the sun or moon.
Uzerin - Uzerin is the yazata angel
in Zoroastrianism who looks after the hours from 3pm until
sunset every day.
Uzzah - "The Lord is Strength."
Uzzah, Azzah, and Azael are listed in the Third Book of
Enoch as the angels who did not want Enoch to be transformed
into the angel Metatron. They told God that Enoch was
a descendent of people who had been drowned in the Flood
for their wicked ways and that he did not deserve to become
an angel. God told them they had no right to interfere
and that he had chosen Enoch ahead of any angel. Uzzah,
Azzah, and Azael were smart enough to accept the rebuff
and bowed down before the new angelic prince, Metatron.
Despite this, the angels teased Metatron by calling him
"youth," because he was the youngest angel.
Uzziel Angel of Faith -
Angel of the order of Virtues and Cherubim. Also one
of the 7 angels who stand before the throne of glory
and among the 9 who set over the 4 winds. Uzziel is
commanded by Gabriel to "coast the south wind with
the strictest watch" Also known as an angel of
mercy, under the ruler ship of Metatron. When you invite
Uzziel to touch you with faith, your spiritual growth
is accelerated and peace fills your heart. |
